WHAT IS BANAN TALES



IT IS A GAME BASED CODING . WE HAVE TO PLAY THE GAME AND SOLVE THE PROBLEMS. WE HAVE TO CATCH BANANAS AND FEED OIT TO THE MONKEY.

THE MAIN GOAL IS TO APLLY THE CODES.

CODING CHATBOTS

Coding Chatbots takes game-based learning to the next level as students complete over 70 coding exercises. In the game, students will learn variables, conditionals, loops, classes and Python built-in functions. No previous experience necessary.

Coding concepts

Variables, loops, numbers & boolean, chatbot development, classes, class method, string manipulation, python built-in functions, data structures, conditionals, server side programming.

The challenges while playing this chatbot is we should have the accurate and sequenced codes to pass through. The codes increase in the increase of level and it becomes harder and harder.

But if you are able to do these chat bots it will increase the level of writing codes and it will let    you understand the coding concepts

                           

BANANATALES PART 1

-The dream of each challenge in Banana Tales is to feed the banana to the baby monkey. 

The little car containing the banana is not smart; once started all it will do is move towards the baby  directly route possible.

 As programmers, the students will write code not to control the car but to control the way to make sure that the path between the car and
 the baby monkey is clear and safe.


Sometimes students will know  that they have a mistake in their code even before sending the car to the monkey.

  i want to rewrite their code after they have clicked Run! but before clicking the banana, they will need to click the Rewind button first. 

 i wanted  to reset the code there  is a button with a counterclockwise arrow. That  was used to reset all the changes that have been made to the code.so i was able to reset the codes.

  While playing the set of functions i had alot of problem because it was diffucult to let the car reach to the monkey and clear the way for it .  tried to watch/ from youtube but internet didnt support. All my friends reached across challenge 86.It was diffcult for me to solve the set of functions.at the last moment my friend tshering gyeltshen and jigme youzer helped me to pass the set of function. The easiest part of part 1 was the for loops set because there were less number of challenges and it was  easier to  understand and also to solve.

The challenges i  faced while playing the code monkey are i couldn't match the code at the starting and sometimes the network donot support and  sometimes the correct code also do not match and lastly understanding of codes were difficult.I would like to say that all the students should first understand the coding concepts to feel easy.Lastly if you read this some  important codes are being  used here in the journal. 

 

BANANA TALES PART 2

   

Banana tales part 2 is the countinution of part 1 that is mainly for class/grade 8. the back ground of the game is in the town and some in the clouds and some the birds have to make the way of  the car.there are total of 63 challenges and it countinus from challenge 88 to 150.

IN THIS COURSE WE HAVE TO TAKE OUR CODING SKILLS TO THE NEXT LEVEL.EVEN THOUGH WE ARE STILL IN THE PYTHON STAGE ITS A TEXT BASED CODING SO WE TO WRITE THE CODE 100 PERCENT CORRECTLY OR IT WILL NOT WORK.















CONCLUSION

In Banana Tales, there are some challenges where the game is split into two play areas each with its own monkey. The goal is to write one code which solves both settings




SO I HAD FACE MANY CHALLENGES IN THE PART WHEN  I WAS IN LEVE 109

I HAD TO WRITE ENTIRELY NEW CODES AND GOT SOME HELP FROM MY FRIENDS.
IT TOOK ME 1 HOUR TO  SOLVE THAT LEVEL SO I LEARNT MANY CODING CONCEPTS FROM THAT LEVEL.
I HAD TO APPLY ALL THECODIG CONCEPTS I HAD LEARNT SO FAR AND APPLY IT ON THI LEVEL TO SOLVE.


IN THE FIRST PART OF THIS COURSE I HAD NOT FACED MUCH PROBLEM AS I HAD DID THIS COURSE LAST YEAR AND KNOWN SONME KNOWLEDGE 

I WOULD LIKE TO PLAY MORE CODE MONKEY AND LEARN MORE SO I WOULD BE BETTER AND MORE SKILLED IN THE CODING LANGUAGE.
